Life without God...

Life without God...hmm...you may be wondering why me (a strong Christian) is thinking about life without God...

There is so many reasons! So...SO...many reasons!
Here is how it would be!
There would be no world! No life, no you, nothing. There would be no high-tech technology, no video games, no computer, no nothing. God himself created this world! He created this cruel world. Whether you realize it or not, we are sinners. We can't go a day without doing something we shouldn't. It all goes back to Adam and Eve. God told them not to eat the apple of the apple tree in the Garden of Eden. They were tricked by the Satan and they ate the apple. That was the start of sin. We are nothing without Him. He gave us the life you have given us, each and every glorious day we have. So think of it this way...I wouldn't be here if it weren't for the merciful Lord. All he's done for us is amazing! He died on the cross, God gave us His Son Jesus, who is the one who saved us! He cares for us. He loves us. He watches over us! And I'm thinking, Wow! It's all Him! How amazing--AWESOME--is he? There is no life without God. Now there is two meanings of having a life without God. One is that...if there was no God. But there is, and I am so thankful for Him, you should be too! And then there's a life without God. Where you just don't have any relationship with him. A lot of people don't. It's sorrowful! No life without God is just-indescribable, unexplainable, unimaginable, I just can't put myself in this position! If you have no relationship with God, I strongly encourage you to! He is the true one and only God. He is the one! There's so many ways to start with Him. Read my other blog called Closer. You will seek ways to become closer with Christ. They are truly all great ways to become closer. I promise you, Hes the one! He loves you just as loves everyone! He will save you! Never forget one of the most popular verses in the Holy Bible...
"For God so loved the world, He gave His one and only Son, for whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
God Bless You all!

Closer?

So are you closer yet? Well...that might not be it! But here are some more ideas to get closer to God...

Write to him through a journal! It's a great way to keep memory of what you prayed for and what God did for you. Trust me, you will LOVE it!

Listen to Christian songs...and my friends friend had a terrific idea...it's that when you are going through something tough, listen to a Christian song and it helps! It will somehow give you a message of advice or help...but listen to the words.

Talk to someone! A friend, a family member, a pet, a anything! Just talk! Praise out loud! It will help you express!

Write a prayer through a song. It's so creative. Just write it and you will find it helps you remember he's with you no matther what!

Join a Life Group. It's a group that you get together once a week and talk and read and it's a great way to connect. Look at local churches for them.

Blog! That's what I did! I've done all these ideas! It's fabulous! Just here's something else maybe to think about...get baptized. It's another of getting saved. It's a fresh start! Okay, honest...I have not been baptized. I want to be. But they don't offer it at my church until your in middle school. So I had to wait. But I'm starting middle school and yet I'm very excited! I can't wait to get baptized! Follow this and you will feel so much better! Set your expectations high with this! Do everything you can! Just become closer and you will find faith, confidence, strength, and you will learn from so much!
Life goes on! And God is with you!

The Start

There is some many places where I can start with this! Here...let me start with this! Answer these questions inside your head...
1. Am I a Christian?
2. Do I take my relationship with God seriously?
3. Do I have what it takes to be with God, and have a relationship?
4. What can I do to become a Christian?
5. Am I a believer, or can I be?

I can answer all those questions! First off, God accepts everybody! He loves each and every one of you in every single way...but you may be like, "I am not the best person I can be! Although I might not be such a big Christian, how would he accept me?" He loves you all, even if you may not be a Christian. He cares for you and still watches over you. He watches every little step you make. Think of it this way...have you ever done something your parents don't know about? Like maybe even a bad thing? And you were thinking, just maybe this ONE time I might try this, and nobody would know! Nobody! I won't tell anyone! Hmm...well although you may think that nobody knows, God knows. He watches you when your playing an instrument, he watches you at school, he watches you at work, he watches you at sports! He watches you wherever you go, and He is always at your side. Now, I will answer the questions I asked you at the beginning.

1. Am I a Christian?
Well first of all, are you? Do you believe in the Almighty God? Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins? Do you love him with all your heart and believe he loves you with your heart? All those questions are very good questions. Do you believe in God? Most of the world does, but if you don't, I strongly encourage you to read all the way to end of this blog (all the blog), and find out how to become tight. God is extremely powerful. But do you believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins? He did it all for us! The world was not what it should be...we are huge sinners! There was sin here and sin there and everywhere, He had a choice. Jesus decided to do this for us because He wanted to destroy all the sin in the world and make a fresh new start. The Bible story for this is Acts 1:1-11. The next question is do you love Him with all your heart? That's depends on where you stand on your relationship. If you desire the Lord and promise to follow Him, then I'm sure that you love him with all your heart. You should love him because He loves you! He cares for you more than you know! You may never know it, but even if you don't believe, still know he loves you!
"Let the hearts of those who trust in the Lord be glad." Psalms 105:3

2. Do I take my relationship with God seriously?
Again, this depends on where you stand in the relationship with God...if you don't goof off about your relationship, and you care for God, and you do what God tells you to do, and you tell people about Jesus, and you love God with all your heart, then YES! you do take your relationship seriously. Unfortunately, not many of us can remember all that, because we are sinners and in these modern days, we get too overboard with the computer, and all these high-tech things, and friends, that we don't make enough time for God. Something that can help with us, is that we can at least take ten minutes a day and spend time talking to the Lord, spending time with him! Read down to the section "What can I do to become a Christian?"
"Put God's kingdom first. Then those other things will also be given to you." Luke 12:31

3. Do I have what it takes to be with God, and have a relationship?
Yes! You all do! Each and every one of you guys have exactly what it takes! Remember, at the beginning when I said God accepts everyone? Well that's true! He cares for each and everyone of you! He loves you! All you have to do is show that you love back! Stay here for the next article and read things that you can do to have a nice, healthy relationship with Christ.

4. What can I do to become a Christian?
I can name many ways to become a Christian. These are things that you can do.
1) Pray to him every single day!
2) Attend a church, and it's wonderful to get involved.
3) Read your Bible daily.
4) Preach. Tell friends and family about God.
And if you really want to get a strong relationship, be a minister. Go around and tell people all about the great miracles He has done!
Come up with your own ways, there are so many!

5. Am I a believer or can I be?
Of course! Something you can do is ask Him to come live inside your heart. Say this prayer and you get saved in a minute!

Dear Lord,
I pray you give me strength, faith, hope, and love. I pray that give me guidance all through life, and show me what's good for me. Lord, I love you with all my heart and soul and I ask you to come into my heart and be with me forever! Thank you Lord! Amen.

Simple! Now, you have been saved. Reborn. That means that you are a new you. You have been saved by Jesus Christ. You proved that you love him with your heart and soul and admitted that you need him in life. Because you do need him! You can't survive without the Lord, he created the Earth!

So, I hope I helped you. Please leave me a comment and give me some feedback. I strongly encourage you to keep reading my blogs to become closer and closer! Thanks so much!
Have a fabulous day,
Savannah
